My Thoughts:

I read book one in this series ages ago but then never got around to reading the rest. So, when the second book popped up on Booksprout as the author is rebranding the series, I grabbed it!
This is just as fiery and steamy as I remember the first book to be. There is no holding back on the sex scenes; they are graphic, erotic and dirty!
I really liked Claire, she was so feisty, and her personality didn’t change as she became enamoured with Mason. She remained a ball-breaker, and this was great as so often the woman becomes weak when she falls for a dominant male. The author really has a knack for getting this right as I said something similar about the female lead in the ‘Drake’ book.
Claire and Mason were really well matched, and I thought it fun when she was trying to bring Mason down a peg or two. I was holding my breath to see who would come out on top. Who did win the bet?!?
This was a very different book to the steamy ones I usually read. There are multiple partners for the protagonists, and it read as more of a real scenario rather than make-believe.
I’m really looking forward to the other two books in the series, especially Link who we got to meet a little more in this book. He sounds like a tank, so his story should be fascinating.
This was a fast-paced and exciting book and a great escape from reality.
