My Thoughts:

I enjoyed this and would have read it quicker if we hadn’t have had visitors, so I had to sneak reads when I could! In the end, I had to be antisocial for an hour to get it finished as I needed to know the outcome!
Aiden not talking was frustrating, but the book isn’t called ‘The Silent Child’ for nothing. Also, I wished there had been more communication between Emma and everyone a little more instead of her just cracking up; she may have been able to prevent a few things without there being some of the more obvious drama.
However, it was an intense read, and you didn’t know who to trust, just like Emma didn’t. You literally suspected everyone. I guessed the actual kidnapper, but I didn’t guess the details leading up to the kidnap, so they were a pleasant surprise!
