My Thoughts:

Wow, this was brutal and hard-hitting.
You have no idea who is who or what is going on. You almost feel as if you are coming into a book halfway. It is only 62-pages long, but it really packs a punch.
The characters were great, and I could really see the events playing out, although at times I wish they hadn’t been depicted so clearly. Some of the incidents were so gruesome, and I think I had my hand over my mouth in shock for the majority of the book.
The conclusion to the book was skilfully done, everything is revealed very cleverly, you are sitting there realising the consequences of everything you have read and the reasons behind all that had happened.
For such a short book, it certainly left its impression. Nothing was overdone or dragged out. It was quick and effective.
