Official Blurb:

You never know who will be the one to finally heal your wounds.
Link: I'm no hero. I was just in the right place at the right time to save a little girl's life. And sure, the resulting attention led to my meeting Raven, who's phenomenal in bed and even better out of it. The problem is that I can't do relationships, period. I always move on quickly, before anything more serious can take root. As much as I adore Raven, I can live with never seeing her again. Better to be alone than to risk passing on the same grisly hand I was dealt as a child. That cycle of misery stops with me.
Raven: How could I have known that the giant of a man I saw on the news would go from preventing a tragedy at the Oscars to being in my bed in a matter of days? From the moment I saw Link, though, I knew I wanted to get naked with him. When we both realized what an incredible connection we have, his reluctance to even entertain the idea of a relationship shredded my emotions and left me vulnerable and exposed. Now, a totally unexpected turn of events is going to reveal whether or not Link truly is a hero.

My Thoughts:

Ah, I am so gutted that this series is over. It took me by surprise but completely reeled me in! I have loved reading these books even if they were completely chauvinistic and portraying the worst of man. However, the way these men won me over says a lot to how fantastically these books were written!
Link is by far my favourite of the Hollywood Players, but I do have a love/hate relationship with him. He was such an arse (sorry I can’t bring myself to say ass, I’m British!) but he was so loveable at the same time. I can see why Raven fell head over heels. I have been waiting for his story ever since he popped up in the first three books. He was just so intriguing, the hulk of a man that no one really knows anything about. He is definitely the silent type!
There is plenty of drama and ups and downs to make you fly through this book wanting to know whether Link could be tamed and whether Raven would get her happy ever after.
Raven was a fantastic character, but I think they make for an exciting read every time I read about a tattooist. I guess because they are so far removed from my personality that I like their dare-devilness and sassiness. It’s like reading about an enigma.
There were lots of sexy moments, but they fit perfectly within the story, and the author didn’t go too over the top with them. There was the perfect balance between story and these.
The books have a great ending, I usually knock a star off for a specific thing that occurred, but I loved this book so much, and it was fitting to the character’s development that I will let it slide this once and give this the five stars it deserves.
A great series and like I say I’m heartbroken that it has come to an end. I highly recommend the Hollywood Players Club series to everyone.
