I haven’t read a perfect psychological thriller in a while; they have all been a bit meh. Finally, with this second book from Michelle Adams, I have read my first 5-star book in a while! It was fast-paced, and I couldn’t put it down. It is one of those books where you are pining your eyes open with sticks at 2 am to keep on reading! The secrets that are being kept from her feel so real, and the lies just keep coming and coming! It’s quite frustrating but in a good book way! With each lie that is revealed it keeps you hooked to find out what is going on, why is everyone lying to her? However, you feel her helplessness as she is recovering and can’t get out there and find out for herself. The book is really well written, you think you have spotted a plot hole, but then it’s filled swiftly, and nothing is left unturned! A brilliant read that I definitely recommend and I need to go and read her first book now!
