Official Blurb:Sunshine, soft white sand and a sizzling hot millionaire – you don’t get trouble in paradise, right? Imogen Charlton is sorted. Dead-beat husband? History. Dream job? Application sent. But then her impulsive brother, Harry, spends every last penny on a Greek restaurant in Corfu, and is determined to run it himself. It’s up to Imogen to bring him to his senses. When sexy millionaire Panos Dimitriou offers to buy back his family taverna, Imogen wonders if all her prayers have been answered (and all her fantasies about to come true). But Harry won’t budge, and his enthusiasm is infectious. Bright pink bougainvillea tumbling over whitewashed walls, endless blue skies, the sparkling Mediterranean; it’s hard not to fall for Corfu. And that’s not all Imogen is falling for… As the sparks of passion fly between Imogen and Panos, is Imogen having second thoughts on selling the restaurant? And will she have to choose between love and a new dream?
I enjoyed this. It was just the light read I needed after having just read two physiological thrillers back to back. I loved that it was set on a Greek island (Corfu), especially as I am currently in Cyprus. So, reading about the dishes Stifado and Souvlaki after my husband and I had literally had those at a taverna the night before made me feel like I was there with them and a part of the story. I’ve even learnt some Greek words from reading this book, so thanks for that! It was a bit silly in places, and the ‘Pfft’ from Elpida was annoying but like I said it was the lightness I needed so maybe if I had read it at another time it would have bothered me more. I was happy with the ending as I didn’t understand her reasons for wanting to leave as she seemed so happy and fulfilled in Corfu, but sometimes it’s hard to make that change!
