My Thoughts:

This is my second time reading this book, and it was just as powerful as the first. I mentioned to my book club that it is a book that had me in floods of tears, and they sadistically suggested we read it for our March book.
I was once again in floods of tears when finishing it; it was that letter from Aunt Linda that did it. I hate lost time, and what has happened can’t be undone.
One of my friends said she was finding it slow going, and I see what she meant, but I prefer to see it that we are along for the ride with Maggie, and it feels like a 'proper book' that you can really invest your emotions into. I felt like a part of the story once again, and my feelings towards the characters felt real.
On rereading my review from the first time around, I said I enjoyed the past chapters the most, but interestingly, this time, I preferred the present. This is a fantastic book that I am sure I will read and weep along to again in the future.
