As someone who has recently started to enjoy reading true crime, I found Jeffrey Dahmer: The Terrifying Story of the Milwaukee Cannibal by James Richmond to be a short and fast-paced read. The book provides a chilling overview of Dahmer's gruesome crimes and delves into the twisted mind of this infamous serial killer.
While the book is certainly horrifying, it is also incredibly informative. Richmond does an excellent job of piecing together the details of Dahmer's crimes and providing insight into the psychology behind his actions. However, I must warn readers that the book contains graphic and disturbing content that may not be suitable for all audiences.
As I read through the pages of this book, I couldn't help but think about the families of Dahmer's victims and the unbelievable pain and suffering they must have gone through. How they must have felt to learn that their loved ones had died in such disturbing circumstances is just unimaginable. It's difficult to fathom the level of depravity that Dahmer was capable of and the sheer number of lives he destroyed.
Overall, I would recommend Jeffrey Dahmer: The Terrifying Story of the Milwaukee Cannibal to anyone interested in true crime. However, I must caution readers that this book is not for the faint of heart. After finishing this brief insight into the mind of a cannibal, I have to admit; I'm not sure I want to read any more about this creature.
