My Thoughts:

Jennifer McMahon's "Hannah-Beast" took me on an unexpected journey, leaving me with a mix of emotions. I approached this book without preconceptions, and it proved to be quite a puzzling experience at the outset. The narrative thrusts you directly into the middle of an ongoing situation, and the immediate reference to Hannah-beast was initially perplexing.
However, once the pieces began to fall into place and the mystery surrounding Hannah-beast was unravelled, the story evolved into a compelling and tragic tale. McMahon skilfully wove a narrative that was both thrilling and ominous, and it became evident that a happy ending was not in the cards for the characters.
What truly took me by surprise was the conclusion. The final twist was unexpected and left me in awe of the author's storytelling prowess. Despite being a short story, "Hannah-Beast" managed to maintain a tight grip on my attention throughout its duration. It was evident that the plot had been meticulously executed and well thought out.
In summary, "Hannah-Beast" by Jennifer McMahon may have had a confusing start, but it ultimately delivered a gripping and thought-provoking narrative. It's a testament to the author's ability to craft a compelling story within the constraints of a short format. If you're in search of a thrilling and unexpected read, this book certainly fits the bill.
