My Thoughts:

This was a fast-paced love story.
We join Maverick and Mia’s relationship halfway through after they have already had drama in their lives which consequently caused them to break up. It’s ok, though, as we start to get a happily ever after reasonably quickly. This is all upended when Mav suffers a football injury, and they are back to square one.
He has to take it on a leap of faith that he is meant to be with Mia. We get to know Mav quite well in the story, what he does for a living and his fears about the dangers of his job. However, we don’t really get to know Mia as well. She mentions a degree but doesn’t elaborate. A few extra sentences would have made this story a little more well-rounded.
The story itself was interesting, and I am enjoying this amnesia collection that the Flirt Club has brought out. The storylines are different from one another but still keeping to the same theme. Overall, it was an enjoyable read.
