Official Blurb:

If love was certain, they wouldn't call it falling.
I don’t want a date; I want a mate. I’m not much of a lady’s man. Can’t we just skip all the awkward stuff?
My sister assures me this matchmaker service is the real deal. So, I sign up to humor her, but then I’m blown away.
Claire is everything I could have asked for and more. She’s charming, funny, and she gets me. But everything falls apart when she finds out I can’t give her the one thing she wants most: a family. Claire thinks I lied. I have to make her see there’s honor in this lonely heart.

My Thoughts:

I really enjoy these Matchmaker books; I’m going to be gutted once I’ve gotten through them all.
This offering from Fiona Starr really embraced the theme that the collaboration had going on. Grace Graham’s matchmaker service requires the match to write to each other before meeting. Claire and Thomas really took advantage of this. They wrote heartfelt letters to each other and divulged as much information as they could without compromising their identities. It was marvellously executed. There was also a unique spin in this story in that two matches were being made by Grace. Not only Claire but her friend was partaking in the service. This was a lovely side story.
I liked that Thomas wasn’t the typical alpha male often found in these kinds of books. He was sensitive and understated. This made him really likeable and relatable. The cocky guys who are all ripped that we usually encounter are unrealistic, but Thomas seemed like a real person, which made this story even sweeter.
I have now read all of Fiona Starr’s contributions to the Flirt Club collaborations, and this is my favourite by far. Five Stars!
