Delicas

Miyuki Delicas are Japanese cylinder beads.

Although similar in size to the seed beads, Miyuki Delicas are special because of their uniform cylinder shape. Each bead is precision made and cut by laser in Miyuki's Japanese factory. Their uniform nature has given rise to their popularity in bead weaving where many delicas beads woven together will forma texture much like a delicate piece of material.

The size relates to the number of beads per inch when strung together:

11/0 have approx 2000 beads per 10g
15/0 have approx 2272 beads per 5g
